If you are a Mission Entrepreneurial Entity (MEE) that is committed to financing and developing affordable housing for vulnerable populations, or know of one, please get in touch.

In general, the Aarohi Fund is looking for investment opportunities that satisfy the following characteristics:

  • Down-pyramid benefit. The business delivers a product, typically homes or loans, that is pro-poor and expands the frontiers of housing feasibility in the target country.
  • Viable plan to internal economic sustainability (IES). The entity has a viable business and capitalization plan to reach IES, the point at which it doesn't need more capital to sustain its operations. (It may need more post-IES capital to grow.)
  • Catalytic capital. Aarohi's investment helps catalyze the fulfillment of total capital needs to IES.
  • Valuable advice. The advisory element of Aarohi's involvement adds value to the entity's long-term sustainability and growth, independent of Aarohi capital.
